Natalie Rivera is a self-taught visual artist born and raised from Southwest Detroit.

Despite facing personal challenges, including the loss of her mother to cancer during her senior year of high school, Natalie's passion for art remained unwavering. Although these circumstances initially hindered her pursuit of formal education in art due to financial constraints and a temporary loss of motivation, Natalie's dedication to her craft never faltered.

Turning to her art as a solace, Natalie honed her skills over the years, transforming her passion into a career-defining journey. From humble beginnings of sharing her creations casually online, Natalie's talent soon caught the attention of the art world. Her breakthrough came with the opportunity to host her own art show, marking a pivotal moment in her artistic trajectory.

Since then, Natalie's artistic prowess has taken her across the globe, with her work showcased in prominent art hubs such as Amsterdam, Paris, Belgium, New York, London, Greece, and her beloved hometown of Detroit. Her body of work transcends boundaries of medium, style, and concept, reflecting the ever-evolving nature of her inspiration and ideas.

In Natalie's own words, "I do not limit myself to one medium, style, or concept. Inspiration and ideas change, knowledge changes. Each piece I create is simultaneously an extension of my past, what I have learned and where I come from, as well as the future, in a sense of where I am going. If a viewer stops for a moment to view and reflect on any piece that I have created, then I have succeeded as an artist."
